Ibrahim Oyemonla Tijani

Position: Executive Secretary

Ibrahim Oyemonla Tijani Esq. attended his Primary School Certificate from Local Authority School. Olele, Okeho (1977) and completed his secondary education at Awoyemi Commercial High School, Okeho (1983). He earned his NCE from then Oyo State College of Education, Ilesa (1987). He taught at Community Grammar School, Ilua, Kajola Local Government (1988) under the Oyo State Voluntary Teaching Scheme, otherwise known as Olurin Service.

He worked briefly as Registration Assistant with the National Population Commission in Okeho 1989 before proceeding to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife where he obtained his LL.B (Hons.) Degree (1996). He was called the Nigerian Bar (1999) and later earned his LL.M from the same university in 2004.

 

He joined the Oyo State Ministry of Justice in March, 2000 and rose to the position of Director. Over the years, he has represented the State in several landmark cases and contributed to the key legal reforms. Notably, he served as counsel to the Judicial Commission of Inquiry on Demolition of Properties for Environmental and Town Planning Regulation Violation in Oyo State (2014).

 

He is widely respected for his professionalism, deep understanding of law and commitment to Public Service.

 

He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) 2008 as well as a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Forensics and Certified Fraud Investigators of Nigeria (CIFCFIN).
